.DZ or .COM.DZ:
To secure in these extensions, the domain owner must meet the following requirements:
- The owner must have local presence in Algeria; and
- The owner must have a trademark in Algeria (application is not enough); it can be a national Algerian trademark or an international trademark designating Algeria. The domain name must exactly match the trademark name.
.TM.DZ:
- The owner must have a trademark in Algeria (application is not enough); it can be a national Algerian trademark or an international trademark designating Algeria. The domain name must exactly match the trademark name.

It is possible to register the letters a to z, the numbers 0 to 9and the symbol “-” (dash) but it cannot be allowed in initial or final position. It is not possible to register domains that begin or end with a hyphen “-“ or start with the characters “xn—“.
