Open to individuals and companies from any country. No documents are required; the registry only needs your ID number (individuals) or your company registration number (companies).
.WEB.ID:
Open to individuals and companies from any country. The registry asks for a copy of your passport (or your Indonesian ID card if you are Indonesian).
.CO.ID:
Reserved for businesses registered in Indonesia. The registry requires the company's Indonesian business number (NIB) and the ID card or passport of the person named on it. If the domain name is a registered trademark, a copy of the trademark certificate (or an authorization from its owner) is also required.
Trustee Service (.CO.ID):
If your business is not registered in Indonesia, we add our Trustee Service automatically and register the domain through our local representative, for an additional fee. We handle all the registry paperwork for you. You keep full control of the domain (DNS, website, email) and we can transfer it into your own name at any time once you meet the local requirements.
Important if you register without the Trustee Service - documents are due within 3 days:
The domain is registered immediately, but the registry requires your documents (NIB and ID for .CO.ID, passport or ID card for .WEB.ID) within 3 days. If they are not received the domain is suspended, and if it stays suspended for 27 days it is deleted and the registration fee is not refunded. Please have your documents ready before you order.

.CO.ID domains are activated once the registry approves the documents, usually within 1-3 business days.

.ID names of 5 characters or more are registered at the standard price.
