Are there any requirements for .DE domains?

A .DE registered domain can be the best choice for domestic and international companies wanting to represent their business in Germany. If you are a regular individual, you are also eligible to register your domain with your name, address and a phone number. Internationalized domain name registrations are also accepted meaning that all diacritics of German, and other languages and the eszett, ß, are allowed to be used. Please note the maximum length of a domain is 63 characters long and must be no less than 3 characters.
